Changing Seasons

Graduate assistant Ryan Stander is a student in our Master of Fine Arts program and is specializing in photography. While he keenly assists with some of the more mundane tasks in our office, such as keeping fact sheets and web listings updated, Ryan has also become the unofficial photographer for The Graduate School.

On his way to work this week, he captured a series of lovely images that illustrate the changing seasons – later sunrises make for lengthening shadows and peeks of sun bounce off the water. Here, a distant shot of the Adelphi Fountain shows it in full water-spouting glory. In the coming weeks, the fountain will turned off to prepare for the winter months. Perhaps we can twist Ryan’s arm to shoot this again in December!
