North Dakota NASA EPSCoR receives a 3 year NASA award

The North Dakota NASA EPSCoR program (http://ndnasaepscor.und.edu/) received notification from NASA of an award of $375,000 over a three year period for its Research Infrastructure Development (RID) project proposal submitted in July 2012. In addition to the award of $375,000 from NASA, the ND State Legislature also provides match funding to the project.

ND NASA EPSCoR is a statewide program and the funds from this award will be used for NASA relevant seed research and travel support to researches to visit NASA centers for developing collaborative research. Funding for graduate research assistantships via the seed research grants to faculty will also be available. Faculty from UND and NDSU will be eligible to compete for these grants.
